Best states to rabbit hunt

Just curious what everyone thought was the best state for rabbit hunting. Length of season, populations, bag limits, access to public land etc....
I have heard Missouri is good, particularly in the Kansas City area. Might even be worth the long drive from other states.
Im from Michigan and we have decent cottontail hunting in the southern part of the state, but the northern part has seen a serious decline in snowshoe population.
Anyone else like to travel to Missouri or Kansas to hunt?

I would imagine they're probably the same states everyone wants to go to for big whitetails...Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, etc. Lots of cover, lots of farmland, and lots of FOOD.

Come on down to SC all ya need is a couple of potlickers and some band-aids to stop the bleeding. We got rabbits on ssn down here killed half dozen last year with their card in their pocket, let the one with the walker go cause he was blind in one eye and had a limp. rabbits here have turds as big as dimes, thought they were lost milk duds the first three times I try them, now I know better. Run from daylight to dark if you got the power. Oh bring water wing if your pups cant swim.

Yes they did and they earned it. BUT, the NFL isn't football anymore. It's business. I was referring to LSU football. In college football, every game matters. Hope u enjoy ur trip down here!

Really? Are they considered a nuisance or something? I may have to head west once or twice come spring!
