Just got a call Honey was found in Cripple creek. She was 1/4 from where it happened. Id say they drug her down there. Im at work, but Sean is going to go get her and Bury her for me.
-
She was a once in a lifetime dog that when ran up could compete with anything on the ground. In her younger days she could Ive seen her put big males out of races. She will definately be missed.
-
Thanks for all the calls and posts well wishing, but I already knew what had happened. Atleast I know she aint laying somewhere suffering that I cant find her.

Sorry to hear that Crabby....I judged her in the semis of the World the year she won against Tony Uptons Shotgun dog....those 2 put on a show.....She was one bad BITCH.....even had the honor of running her for a few weeks and packing her to a couple hunts....while she at my house she showed my dogs a thing or two....I never competed against her but judged her several times and when folks drew out against her u could tell by their faces at the stake that they knew they had their hands full....At least u found her and she ll be laid to peace brother....if u need anything u got my number....At least she was doing what she loved

Sorry to hear that and at a loss for words, I heard great things about her....

Coyotes are my biggest fear when running at night....just to help us beaglers out...were there any warning signs that the yotes were around her or did all heck just break loose? In hindsight is there anything you would have done differently? I know this is a tough time and feel free not to answer but I fight off the coyotes every other night and losing a hound to one is always in the back of my mind.

I guess now I know the Tracker Flashes are worthless at keeping coyotes away if they really want the dog. :mad2:

Sorry to hear that she was found dead. I was hoping she would be laid up somewhere. I guess you must have had that gut feeling that most of us get when things go bad. At least now you know but it's no easier to take.

Mike,

I am so sorry. Wish I could do something. The beagle world is short one of the good ones tonight.

Mike,
We can't tell you how sorry we are for your lose. Good dogs like Honey live on in the wonderful memories they leave with us, and I know she left a lot of real treasures with you.
