Wade's M Eighty, winner of this years Ohio State Hunt, died early this morning due to high fever & pneumonia.

Sorry to hear the sad news. It is hard to lose any of your hounds and twice as bad when it is such a good one. Again, sorry for the sad news.

Why wasnt a dog with such a high fever at the vet on IV fluids and antibiotics?Just curios?

He seemed fine on Saturday. He wouldn't come out of his box Sunday morning. I took him to the vet Sunday afternoon. The vet kept him. He died while he was under the vets care. He was on IV's & anti-biotics.

sorry to hear about ur loss. its always sad when a good beagle goes. but now hes hunting rabbits with god..
