and to celebrate early (lol) I took my snoopin dog out and he jumped a rabbit and that was one of the best 40 minute runs ever that bunny circled the whole swamp!!
I too am now thinking about heading to some state land for my first time!
Runninhard, Littlewoody, we all have to get together and run sometime this year, I am ready for a change of scenery!

I'll be heading to some big state land in the morning...took the day off work for this! Haven't ran him since the season closed. I really can't wait to hear him open in some tall, dewey grass first thing in the morning. Just can't wait. Good running to all.

I'm so glad quiet time is over, I've been reduced to two private ground running spots for three months and it all ends today!!!! I'll be running Saturday & Sunday morning bright and early with you guys! Can't wait to finally take the young dogs I started this summer to some different spots.
Sometime we need to get all of us lower MI guys (on the forum) together for some fun running. Like everybody bring one experienced dog or something and just have fun. I'll do the grilling and we can all just pitch in for hamburgers and hotdogs.

A few buddies & I went out to one of the recreation areas near us, set down 11 dogs this morning and had some great music to listen too. We ran about six rabbits in the four hours we had the dogs down and they pounded, needless to say the kennels will be quite tonight.
