We have a "best beagle name" so I figured I would try this .....

I bought my male at 2 years old and his name was "Collie", Why this ? I will never know
He handled good to this name so I left it as it was .......

A friend knows a guy that has names like , Trojan, Viagra, Tylenol - Extra strength ......

Some way back in my dogs ped are Princess Chans of Slackville, Puddels, River Run Dumpy, Brandy Mata Los Cone Jos

I have a 1/2 white faced female that I use to call "Fugly" (short for (censored) Ugly)...my wife asked that I change it because my daughters kept asking how I came up with the name. Her name is now "Mugly" (short for Ugly Mug).

I know a guy who has one called "What"...it would be interesting to go hunting with him and have everyone repeating themselves while he is trying to call the dog.

Probably one of the better ones is a dog called "SNAFU"...short for "Systems Normal All (censored) Up"

I use to have a male dog named HEAD because everybody loves Head but the dog wasent worth Killing

just named our new pup DnC's Copperhead Road (junie x superdog cross) got rolling blue deisel (reggie trails cross) i take pleasure in thinkin up names for these hounds can be fun!

Talked to my buddy and he told me The other guy has a dog named Cotex also...lol

OK....this is a delicate issue. This is in NO WAY meant to sound racist (although having to preface with that means it may!) I saved the June 1997 issue of "The Rabbit Hunter" magazine for the humor in the cover. Picture of the top 6 hounds at the 1997 Progressive Pack Championship. Five white guys showing legendary dogs like Brinsky's Tank, Paint Creek Dolly and Polly, Gunsmoke.....and one Black gentleman with a dog named "Ghetto Righteous Fleetwood". Again, I hope no one takes offence.....

We had a dog one time that was named Dugan. I did a little bit of research when we bought him and it turned out that the name Dugan has Irish roots, so I looked up some old Celtic language to use in his registered name. He had a BIG booming bawl mouth, so I named him Hall Mtn. Dealunn O'Dughaigan...which translated into "Dugan with a big bark"! He's now in Ohio, so maybe some of you guys up there have met him.

We tend to name dogs after song titles...We've had Hall Mtn Dirty Little Secret, Hall Mtn Holla Back Girl, Hall Mtn Soulja Boy...right now we have a pup out of our Joker stud, so we named him Hall Mtn Poker Face, after the Lady Gaga song.

Naming after Musicians:
I've got a Lone Pine Lady Ga Ga and a Lone Pine Bieber.
Tried to breed Bieber to Ga Ga, but she was just too much for him to handle!

Here in Mo, there's a male dog named Ramblin A Boy Named Sue, & he's also got a female named Pride & Joy
