Clifton passed away in his sleep and will be buried this morning at 11:00 AM. Himself, his wife whom preceeded him in death, Roger, Donnie (his sons) and their spouses, and his grandson Steven are all lifetime members of Central KY Beagle Club.

As many of the older beaglers around the MidWest know he was one of a kind. Always joking, laughing, making you smile. He was from days gone by. Never had a worry in the world. Showing us a knife he had traded for or a talking about a dog he had traded for. He loved woodworking, and making anything out of wood. He would remind most of us of our grandparents and the younger guys of their great-grandparents.

He was a true fixture at Central KY Beagle Club and will be missed by us all. I know many times when I had a bad day at work he could make me laugh.

I want to send my sympathy to Donnie, Steven and the rest of the family.
I never saw him when he wasn't in good spirits. He always put a smile on my face. Jeff nailed it when he said he reminded him of our grandparents. He will be missed.

I only talked with him a few times, but he sure was a funny old man. Reminded me of my late grandfather; always kept you laughing. Sorry for the Goforth family's (Donnie, Roger & Steven) & the Central Ky Beagle Club's loss.
