what type of fence do you use on a starting pen
i have seen old post of guys talking about useing chicken wire and other talk about an apron fence. Whats the differnce and where can i buy it?

i have always just used chiken wire and turn it out at the bottom . has worked fine for me .

The fence you use for a running pen looks like chicken wire but it is a much heavier gage of wire.The apron fencing has about a 12" piece that is hinged on the bottom so that it can lay flat on the ground.You can swing it either way.Outside the pen to keep predators out or inside the pen [what all folks I know do ] to keep rabbits from digging out.
