Just came in about 20 min ago. Donnie and Bubba Fleming from Bethlehem Ga came over and we went runnin dogs.Had some awesome running and 1 long race. The dogs pounded these rabbits,cool and damp, we sat a short storm out lots of lightning and high wind then got nice. They sure do have some good young hounds, and a couple not to bad old one`s. we got to see the rabbit in the flash light beam runnin for his life. Night runnin is great.

i tried those traker lights this morning from 4:40 to daylight and they was awesome. im lliking this early moring running. im not much of a night owl but getting up really early and going is great

A running buddy of mine, that I run with on occasion (bucks better beagles) ,turned me on to those lights. Ordered them from Nite Lite catalog.$14.99 ea. if you order 3 or more. $16.99 ea. if ordered one at a time.A little bit cheaper than the Tracker brand and a little different. They rivet on , which I prefer anyway.

Wireman. Are those the ones that you rivet on to the collars? I was wandering how they hold up. I read before they rip off in the brush. I'm ordering the one that slide on the collar. But I'd like to know how those hold up.

i have the ones collar slides thru and i have only had them out 1 time but i like them, not to say anything about the others. i did not know about the other tell the other day. you can see them great though.

Have not used the lights myself.Was in an running pen about a year ago in Manchester Ky,foggy and you could see which way the hounds were going all the time. Erie looking going up and down and across the mountain.

Wireman you need ta watch that guy your runnin with just kiddin Buck hope your haveing some good runnin on Topith and Cassidy.

Yes they rivet on and are secure just like a name tag. I've not had a problem yet , and have used them every outing since last summer. I put them right on my shock collars . I just don't turn them on until dark.You just twist them to activate the light.I would recommend them. I know the Tracker style just slide on the collar. My main reason for choosing Nite Lite's version was simply price. I believe Tracker's price is $20 where as I payed $14.99 because I ordered 3 at once . That's a $15 savings where I went to school. LOL

the kind u slide on collar did not slide any this morning,but it was only the first time out. they may as they get older but not today. u turn these to turn off and on and come with extra batteries.

I have used these lights for many years. A word of caution, the ones that just slide over your collar (and cost more) are exactly the same as the ones you rivet on except, there is a rubber covering over them. Now, herein lies the problem. That rubber cover that you slide your collar through, will weather and deteriorate (don't listen to the BS the manufacturer will give you if you call them) with harsh conditions. If you run every night regardless of the conditions and temperatures, it will eventually rot away. This is especially evident if you run in heavy briars or other thick cover. The rubber will tear away and you will lose your light. I had this happen to me several times before I realized I should take the rubber off and rivet the light to my collar. Then I realized, that I could get the same but cheaper light with the rivets supplied and all my concerns were answered. Batteries, these don't last long in cold temps so, there are places on the inter-net where you can get them in lots of 100 for a quarter a piece. That way you can replace them often.

By the way, there is a new and similar light out now that is being offered on the UKC and Prohound sites that sells for about $5 a hit. The coon hunters are raving about them. I plan to stock up today.

Just a quick PS: I just ordered 5 of those new lights I described. They are $5.50 each and $5.99 shipping. Use the same batteries as the other ones do. They look extremely bright but flash different colors.
