Wanting to see some of the best looking Northway & or Reffett's bred males or crosses of out there ... Anything with "show quality" looks ?
Show the pedigree too and if it's produced , tell me what it has produced ... If it's got titles show em and if it's up for stud let me know ...
Hoping to see nice blocky heads , short muzzles & full ears ... Pictures from several angles if possible ... PM me if you wish or post if you
want . If you want to describe your hound I'm willing to read or listen to you on the phone when I have time .

Males I'd like to see : Reggie crosses , branko crosses , Let Er Rip crosses or straight ...

Looking to see some full 15" inch hounds that are the total package ...

That "short muzzle" thing is for show dogs, keep a hound looking like a hound...

jude i agree with you about wanting pretty beagles just because a dogs ugly dosent mean it is worth a penny so if i have a choice between a a pretty dog that can run & a ugly dog that can run ill take pretty anyday by the way what do you call pretty a foo foo dog not me i like a beagle that looks like a rabbit dog but im easily pleased with perfection ill see if i can get a pic of my dog out of reffets/northway

Believe me I'm not looking to deminish the quality of my kennel just for looks.

Jimmy , As far as White Hussler goes , yes I think he's pretty good looking male (not looking for total show perfection).

Why would anyone feel the need to down me for trying to better my kennel ??? Just don't understand some people .

If I was looking for just a show dog I would'nt have asked for this paticular bloodline .

WOW ! JUDE does that sound like no or " HELL NO " we don't have a good looking hound out of Northway / Reffetts nor do they want one ! I wonder do they have " PAPERS " That dont run no rabbit either ! LOL ! this will go on forever ! LMAO !

I am certainly not trying to stick my nose in anyone's business but I've got to side with Jude and Mooredog on this. Fact is, pretty does run a rabbit. In fact, I would argue that pretty runs a rabbit better than not pretty. Here's what I mean. I take "pretty" to mean having the proper conformation. This allows the hound to get over the ground better thus giving the dog better stamina. When a dog can move properly it runs better, plain and simple. Looks are important to me in my beagles. Proper looks are part of the total package. If we get away from breeding hounds with the right looks and conformation we take away from the breed as a whole, in my opinion. Give me beagles that have nose, brains, good foot, hunt, straight legs, deep chests, proper ear set, tail set, etc. I'm breeding for the total package...and in my book at least, that includes "pretty."

Hey,,,Jude look at the Cash dog at xdawg beagles ,,,,,I have two females from his last liter their mother is China not (show) dogs but they are really pleasing to the eye and there coming along great for pups. Just a good package. I could not be happier with them!! And i know Jack will treat you right.

Mooredog , if you give some men a shotgun they'll shoot thier toes off I've found Mr.Patch to be helpful and constructive in his posting . As for Jimmie I think he drinks alot and probably hits enter so he can go grab another beer sometimes the key board types one thing and our mouths mean to say something totally diffferent . I feel that I explained myself well and the rest of this post should go nicely . Wes , you have a very nice looking hound there !!! XDAWG / Jack , I didn't even have to look at the website to picture Cash in my mind , man I've admired him for a long time (quite possibly one of the nicest looking hounds of that bloodline I've ever seen) . I still decided to click on and look at him again . If I left anyone out I appologize .

Buddy sorry if i did not spell it out right for ya.I been known to drink a little but its usally not at 7 am in the morning. Thats when i posted.I also hit enter and never look back. .My ideal of Purty is a all day ,hard driving ,check grabbing ,rabbit jumping,Bloody tail , Now thats Purty.I have yet to Own a dog that had show quality looks and could really give a f--- if i do.Bring one iffin ya get it and come pair him up with my short ear long tail hounds.My suggestion for you is get ya some indian hill dogs there pretty.Dont forget the hair spray and give me a beer.Abshires dogs=Conformation is sound. Pretty is my ol lady Shorty.

I think alot of southern boys are already running hare blood. I too like a goodlooking dog but thats not my top priority.

Chaps my azz, You got one that fast, i aint seen a dog drag much i own.Including Casey hounds.Guess i outta be from missouri ya gonna have to show me.We aint running out da country Hare we running Cottaintails , They turn alot.Speed can burn ya at times, member dat.
