When does a pregnant female need to quit hunting/running?

She'll stop by herself when she needs to stop. I run them until they won't. Seems to me that the pups turn out better if the gyp is in shape.

About the time they can't have your coffee AND breakfast ready before you head out the door, then it's time to leave 'em at home. With any luck they'll have lunch ready when ya get back

There are many ideas, Imprinting the pups with the excitement of the bitch trailing scent while in whelp, keeping the bitch somewhat fit while in whelp. A couple of the down sides, tearing up the milk bar going through brush, jostling the pups in the womb may turn and tangle the cords and placentas.
I think moderation plays out well, the time and effort put into mating, care and delivery of a healthy litter of pups is worth some degree of caution...jmho
