Phil Walls in OHio has Big Boy Patch Kennels. He had some nice hounds at the world hunt and there were others their running dogs out of his breeding. If you need a number for him drop me an email or Private message. I met him and his son out at the world Hunt and they seemed to be stand up guys.

I bought a male pup from Larry Parrot last year. Pup just turned a year old. TOUGH, TOUGH, did I say TOUGH. I bought him to run deer with, and he is as good a young hound as I have ever owned. Larry Parrott will tell it like it is regarding hounds. He is one of the only people I know that has the running grounds and is able to run his hounds several times a week year round. I met him and went to his kennels, and can only say that they are first rate. I am planning on buying more from him as soon as he breeds a bitch. Look him up, tell him Mark Metts, said hey.

Thanks for the link Big Dog....The Walls' have nice looking hounds for sure at Big Boy Patch Kennels....but from looking at their pedigrees, their dogs are not full Patch breeding. Most of them are outcrossed to the Ellison Ridge Redman line. It apparently has been a good cross as their dogs have done well!

I don't know if any of yall has ever rabbit hunted with Mr. Larry Parrot but let me tell yall I have and if you havent your missing out on hunting with a good man and some of the Best Patch beagles I have ever seen. I have a few dogs myself and I like to run my dogs with him. And every time I run with him it never fails that we have a good day at rabbit hunting. His dogs are in excellent condition because I know he runs them a few times every week. For any of yall rabbit hunters who haft to worry about your dog getting hot and heavy on a deer. Well Mr. Larry dosn't haft to worry about that all his dogs are deer broke. So if any of yall are thinking about bying a puppy look him up and see when the next time he is going to breed his beagles.

I will second that, I met Larry a couple years ago when he & his family made the trip to Tennessee for a Patch pup. He is a fine feller & has a fine family, I would trust anything he told me. Someday, I plan on getting down to hunt with him, if I can swap a couple pups for gas money.lol

If it is the Patch hound that won the open class I believe he is owned by STrike Jump Kennels. I'm not sure where they are from but I am pretty sure that is the kennel name. That dog was super fast and could lock on and was a nice hound, I do agree he was a little swingy, but was a tough dog.

The dog is owned by Charles Browning, first time I ever seen the dog run was about 3 years ago and I tried to buy him then, I havent ran with him for sometime, I am sure he has only got better with age, The dog is from Oilton Oklahoma.
