Getting rid of a bobcat in the running pen

A buddy of ours is having a bobcat coming in to his pen regular and not having much luck in trapping it. He's pretty much just helping himself. Any suggestions?

If he keeps the dogs out of the pen he might be able to trap it. I have seen them caught in fox and coyote sets.

Wish I were closer, I'd bring the hounds over. Cats are very simple to catch, make a good cubbie with a chunk of meat in the back and use a foot hold with lite covering and LOTS of blocking.

Bobcats are pretty dumb as far as traps go.You can catch them in cage/live traps fairly easy.Just set it close to where it is getting in,hang a feather in the back so it flutters, bait it with some canned mackerel, and put a little dirt over the floor. You may get by without the dirt on the floor but they don't seem to like walking on the wire floor.
