PRE-ENTRY taken by phone or mail or enter on morning of hunt at Great Lakes Beagle Club at - 7:00am –8:00am – entry fee to be paid prior to bringing in rabbits for weight in.
Enjoy a day of hunting with dogs or without, (no hunting on Great Lakes Beagle Club).

WEIGH-IN AT THE CLUBHOUSE 4pm-5pm
Deadline for weigh in is at 5:00pm sharp (be in parking lot)
Each team will be allowed to weigh 6 rabbits; the best 4 will be entered. Top 3 teams by weight wins, split 50% of entry fee Money-split 50, 30, &20 percent payback.

All game must have been killed that day. DO NOT FIELD DRESS THE RABBITS! The club will reserve the right to disqualify any game and disqualify any team if necessary. All game must go with you after weigh in. Teams must follow Michigan State Game Laws.

FREE DINNER FOR ALL HUNTERS at the club house after your hunt, $5.00 for non-hunters. Dinner will be served starting at 4:00 there will also be a 50/50 raffle.

This sounds like a great time, wish I could make it, if I had some places to hunt in that area I would be all over this 1 ...

Our club in Delaware throws this type of hunting contest twice a year. Really have only had club members involved, how do you guys make out advertising like this? It seems to me it would really be a good fund raiser if you had enough teams. Our clubs name is Tri-County Beaglers, we were established in 2009. The 1st hunt we had was great! Our 2nd hunt was snowed out,"a few feet!" The 1st hunt this year also turned out well! Team Walnut Shade is back to back champions! Lots of Michigan State Hunting Land near by. Check your maps for Lapeer, St.Clair, Tuscola, Sanilac, and Saginaw County. Many others. Get a few rabbits by 3:00pm and be at the clubhouse by 5:00pm. You receive 3 door prize tickets per rabbit. One rabbit will get some door prize tickets and you can then win the shotgun or many other door prizes.

I am looking forward to it we missed it last year !
