I would say Dirty pond Tangree, I know of a few nice dogs he has produced and I own
his littermate sister and she is a great female. The Hemi dog out of Strikers brother
Zoro would be another great choice. There are a few more Striker males available but
I am not sure how they are reproducing. Larson's Jackson has produced some nice dogs
but he is no longer for public stud.

Tang is a nice dog, runs a good line, will jump many rabbits and should reproduce with your Shaker gyp. The thing about Tang that I like is how much intelligence he actually has. He can run with the best even at 7 1/2 years old. He has a big nose and uses it correctly. He hates rabbits as well. I've seen and heard him growling while chasing the rabbit. Seger has told me many times that he's growling at the rabbit and not his pack mates.

I also think Dock is a great dog!! He has tons of push and runs a rabbit line really nice. I think he's a under-rated stud out of the Striker line. You said you wanted a direct son of Striker which Dock is not, but he is a dominating hound, throws tons of desire to hunt, throws tons a nose and plenty of foot.

Like Mdbeagler said, there is a dog by the name of Huntspur's WoodLot Hemi. A nephew to Striker, he is also throwing real nice dogs from what I have heard. His pups are placing in the AKC Large pack as well as Midwest.

Good luck!!!!!

I would call Viagra a Striker male and as well as he is producing it would be hard to over look him.

IFC Dirty Pond Legacy's Blacky, He can run in conditions most dogs can't with a clean accurate mouth. He can run either cottontail or hare just as good and needs no "adjusting time". Even at 10 years old he can hold his own in a pack of younger hounds. He will take the front or make them look bad from the middle. He can put on a clinic with ease. He is accomplished in trials but more importantly he is a hunting gun dog. He is one of the most well round hounds I've watched run. On snow the only one I've seen close to his skill would be his dam IFC Branko's Dirty Pond Laika.

I think Jack Blum crossed his Shaker bred female IFC Threejays Jack's Cleo (IFC Haunted Hill Shaker x IFC Squirrel Creek Angie with IFC Dirty Pond Legacy's Blacky (thinking there were 4 pups) and 2 finished to FTCH, 1 is close (if not finished), and 1 has places. The male was top 15" hound in the region in 2008. That should answer how he crosses with Shaker bred females.

Donnie had Ripper, Blue Max, Trails, and two of his own FC males at his house and he chose to breed to Ripper so there must be something there. I don't know what he is producing as I haven't seen anything out of him go but it would be worth looking at.
