Went rabbit hunting this morning. Only been hunting for 30 minutes and the dogs had got on a rabbit. They was running a rabbit around the edge of a high wall and we was behind them all of a sudden they got quite I seen 2 of my dogs and while I was walking to the edge of the wall to watch my dogs. I heard a loud thud. I told the guys that was with me I believe one of my dogs had fell over the high wall. I have ran at this place for a long time. I walked around to the other end of the high wall and walked down the road to where I thought she would be. There she layed. The best jump dog I had. She fell about 80 feet. My other female that was in the kennel with her went and layed down beside her. Now she isnt acting to good. I put my male dog in with her for some company. Hopefully she will be fine in a few days. This is the first time since i've took up rabbit hunting that I have ever lost a hound. And pray to God that i never do again. As soon as I got home my 2 little girls was asking where is Bonnie where is she at. I told them that she was still running a rabbit and we couldn't catch her. It sure was a bad day and hope I never have to go through it again. She was one of the best dogs I had. Maybe not the fastest but was a good rabbit dog. Once she opened up you knew she had one. R.I.P Bonnie
