When will they start to turn blue like their momma and daddy? This is my first litter of blueticks, so I have no idea!

give it a couple days. you notice day by day they'll get that color. also look at their paws. if you see dark they'll be bluetick. if you see pink they'll be tri-color pups by the time they are 3wks they'll for sure get good color on that white.

Yes they are. The sire is the blue male out of Reggie that you also saw run when you were down.

they will start to turn in about ten days if you rub against the grain of their fur if it looks dirty they will be bluetick if it is snow white they will be tri-color. if these are brandy's pups i'll take a female. have seven out of brandy's mom right now 5 weeks old. i'll buy one or maybe we can trade. i need a girlfriend for brandy's brother. nice looking pups!!!!

Give it about two weeks. Like mentioned rub the hair back and it will begin having a blue tint to it in about 10 to 14 days. Good looking pups!

Hey Brad, now that they are a week old, do they have any blueticks yet? Keep us posted on their progress, I'm interested to see how they'll turn bluetick. I think that's amazing. How's Bambi doing? Does your email still work?

Congradulations ur a Daddy !! I do not like your Cedar Chips as pups have been known to chew and CHOKE on them .
I have never seen it but have heard many claim it is true.

They are definitely going to be blueticked! I will try and get a pic tomorrow if I get home from work before dark. At the rate that they are changing, they will really be showing it in another week or two. I checked their feet to see if they were black or pink. All of them had pink feet, kinda interested to see how dark of a bluetick they become.

As for Scout, our deer season started last Monday and i hadn't seen him until last evening. I guess their was no one in the woods on Sunday running the deer around, so he was able to get back to the house! Couple more weeks of deer season left, then he should be safe until next fall!
