Build places for them to nest and hide like stacked scrap and wood pallets. Also put down salt blocks in the spring/summer breeding periods.

Put some rabbit feeders with rabbit pellets in there and trap as many rabbits you can and turn them loose on the farm. If you have cover and you put the pellets in there you will be surprised how many rabbits will come.

Yes and yes. It is quite amazing what the salt blocks will do.

I forgot the salt blocks, they do work and just regular rabbit pellets you can get at any feed store. It will take a little effort but if you will make some wooden boxes to put over your feeders and the salt it will save some of your rabbits from predators. Cut a hole on all 4 sides at the bottom of the box just big enough for a good size rabbit to get in and out.

I've been looking at some picture's on here of some feeders for rabbits and they use plastic barrels which I'm looking for now but the picking is pretty slim.
But with a wooden box would you go about the same size as a barrel or less??

I'll be going by there tomorrow,I'll take some pictures of the area and let ya'll see what I'm dealing with,It's thick but some what easy walking.

check out Craigs List i have found alot of free stuff on there such as those 55 gallon drums and other barrels and stuff that people just give away for free also you can use PVC pipe for a auto feeder its smaller and just stack some cinder blocks around it and put wood over top of it!! Just some ideas but i would also use the salt pellets instead of block you can spread it out for them!! JMO but good luck!!

You can smash the salt blocks with a sledge hammer and spread that way, what ever works and is the most economical was to get salt to them at breeding time.
