I am old. I can remember when AKC papers weren't worth the ink used to print them. I was just wondering how many or if any people would be willing to poll a couple questions.

I am a hunter first and formost, With out being honest you are compromising the integrity of a breed, and maybe some day I will get into a Breeding program but for now I put my trust in the people I purchase my Hounds from, The need to be honest is paramont, What you compromise to keep You will lose in the end so why not just be a honest man. But it sounds as if there might be some issues out there with certain lines, Which is too bad Greed and the need to be the best without earning it is mostly the cause of dishonesty !

Looking quickly at the results so far, it would seem Diogenes would not need his lamp on this post. Or would he?

I hope we can get more people to respond because I think this is an issue that has been endemic to the beagle world for many years. It is great that finally DNA can resolve these issues.

Confusious say, " To be a truly honest man, one must first be honest about himself ".

Salzer: Confucius also said that a man has 3 natures: the way others see him, the way he sees himself and the way he really is. Show me a man who has never done anything wrong and I will show you a man that has never done anything.

Charley, you're 2 years older than me, you old coot. By the way, I just got in from running a fox for 3 1/2 hours with a pack of 6 very hard dogs. Would have stayed longer but I ran out of vodka.

Actually a man is seen or judged 4 different way's (1) He is seen or judged by his own eyes (2) He is seen or judged by his families eyes (3) He is seen or judged by his neighbors eyes. (4) He is seen or judged by Gods all seeing Eye.

The percentage of honest people in the poll is dropping. Today, I noticed, it was at 50%. Come on, we need more people to comment and then perhaps, we could comment about the relevancy of the poll. With all the hoopla going on in the patch post, I find this not only interesting but
quite enlightening. It would seem, that many people have played a little hanky-panky with registrations papers at least once in a while.

Remember, it is also honest to say that you have done so. Harder to do,maybe, but entirely honest.

Bev or anyone else: What does EWWW mean? I figure it has something to do with texting but, I know not what.

Me bad. The number 1 responders was at 74%. I have trouble seeing the numbers I guess. This is much better but still leaves 1/4 of the responders who have played with the papers at one time or another.
