Sept. 23rd, 101 degrees for today supposed to be an all time high for this date. We haven't had any rain in like 2 mo. Surprisingly I have been having some running at night the last few nights. It looks more like the Mojave here than Ky. We don't have any real chances for rain in sight. I have heard that just south of us about an hour they have had quite a bit of rain. I sure hope they get another good rain in the Greensburg area before the Grand Nationals.

It was fairly cool this morning with some dew on the ground. I ran my dog solo for 2 hours. Had 1 30 minute race and two short races on some pretty small rabbits. All in All I was pretty satisfied. Better than keeping her in the kennel.

All that said, Im ready for fall and some cooler temps so I can run all day if I feel like it.

Isn't it funny (not really funny because people died), but last year Ky had whole valleys flood. Homes and vehicles swept away. Mother nature can have a wierd sense of humor.

going to be a chilly 55 degrees in the morning. we had a light shower this morning. I'd say running ought to be supreme tomorrow morning.
