THINK I'LL WRITE A BOOK
I think I'll write a book about a prominent Little Pack member and the escapades he has got himself into by his deceitful ways. It would be fictitious, of course.
In the book, he has failed to pay entry fees for his dogs at his home club, took more money that the club agreed in the minutes to pay for a family member to run concessions, always judged for the big boys when they rolled into his home club, sold dogs to different individuals and failed to follow up on his promise to provide AKC papers, didn't support his Master of Hounds when the MOH suspended a friend of his for misconduct, and threatened the secretary if he told anyone of these things, when the secretary confronted him. Also, at one trial, when he thought everyone was gone out on casts, he slipped the collar off one of the secretary's dogs, apparently hoping it would get on Main Street in front of the building and get killed. But someone was sitting in a vehicle and saw him.
Of course the secretary would need to be able to provide documentation on minutes and cancelled checks, and letters from the individuals who did not receive their AKC papers, which he has. Also, he would need to be able to provide a copy of the e-mail on the threat, which he has.
A couple of years later, at a hunt, this prominent member asked who was in the finals. When told that the secretary (at this time ex-secretary) had a dog in the finals, he stated that was a shame. The next day he got a chance to follow through on his threat when he judged the ex-secretary's dog in the finals. I'll leave some of the good stuff for the book.
Maybe I'll add to the story that he is state and national officer of Little Pack division of ARHA. I think I'll title the book READ IT AND WEEP.
It would be fictitious, of course. No one would cheat their home club by taking money they didn't deserve, not paying their entries, not supporting their officers, not providing promised paperwork, threatening officers, trying to kill dogs, and cheating when they judge. That would take a real scumbag
