Patch pic`s

Post by Tsa la gi »

These measurements were posed not on flat feet. They were taken by another beagler.
I`m going to cross Kojack on his Grandmothern SS sunrise Snowball when she come`s in.

This is the only full patch pack I`ve ever owned and the fastest,I`m very happy with them. The next fastest was a pack of 1/4 patch I had in the late 60`s,The were gr gr grand pups of Anderson patch and I had no idea what I had.

Thanks

Packmaster,
Used to have a dog I`d squrril hunt coon hunt and rabbit hunt when I was young an lived in Sylvan center Mi. That would be a no no now. Have thought about getting with Reddog1 with Gus , Cain, and jack to see if they would run Yotes with his hounds. He has enough sence ot to run his on yotes only I would probably run mine on both. There is enough yotes here I could have a blast and can run year round, bunnies and yotes. Then no one would want to run with me

Chuck,
Didn't notice it until SR pointed it out.
You have my old Sport in that pedigree.
Quite honestly, he was the best hound I ever owned and ever seen!
I have eye witnesses that saw him run a cottontail out into a picked cornfield that just had fresh manure spread on it and he never missed a beat.
His only fault was he was a one man dog, he wanted nothing to do with anyone but me, even Dad couldn't get him to come.
He was mine and he didn't want anyone to think different!
Superb nose whether it was in the heat of summer or below zero in the dead of winter.
Bill use to call him "Jump Dog Deluxe"
Every hound that I have had since, always gets compared to Sport. He will forever be my measuring stick.

I sure miss that old boy!

Tamer and Ms. Madam Patch(aka- Maddog) were two powerful hounds, can't see you going wrong for what your wanting with that cross.
I got a picture of Maddy(aka-Maddog) I could post for you if you'd like? She was a beautiful made tri-colour. The last time I visited GR, his boy Wade had her in Wis. where he lived at the time.
Who owns Snowball? She'd be a good bitch to breed to some different males to keep that blood going... ;)

chuck, there is a male up here that is just as tall and fast. oh no i am not talking about hondo, but tims dog brody. last friday was the first time i think hondo actually got overran on a rabbit since i have owned him. brody jumped a stinky male bunny and smoked it heads up. i am not joking when i say it was the fastest i have ever seen a beagle run a race and hondo was 30 yards behind during most of the race. it was truly amazing. i almost could have swore it was a fox but it ended up being a big rabbit. i would love to see brody get measured he is huge like gus.

later, dave
