looks like i may have a new running partner. Last night my girlfriend asked me can we take the beagles running. I was like well yes. Then she asked me can we also take the 2-3 month old puppies with us. I told her yes, but you can not baby the puppies out in the woods like you do around the house. I'm thinking this will be a short trip. We get to the running ground and I ask her you want bug spray to keep ticks, chiggers off you, and she said nope I dont need it. I am thinking she is better than me. She didnt complain once, cause she was enjoying taking pics. Heck she even handled them. Only once I had to ask her to stop babying the male puppy cause she was carrying him cause it was to far of a walk back to the truck. I told her make him walk so he will sleep all night. For a Bonus my hunting partner and his search/rescue group was training their dogs near by, and she got to see those dogs work especially the beagle who is used for lost kids.

Man if you got a woman that wants to run with ya, Let er go and carry all she wants.Good luck with ya.

Missi goes with me as often as she can, she loves it and in fact has her own hound.

That's great news !!! You're a fortunate man . My wife and daughter love to
run beagles too . I've had mine laid up for months now but with cool weather
coming the rattlers activity may die down a lil .

Can she shoot? She ain't coming if she's gonna shoot our dogs or me. If she shoots you, that is none of my business it's a domestic and I don't know what you done, so it could be justified. Glad to see the pups yesterday and had a good run with Duke today. By the way, Steve's female looked pretty good today as well.

My wife went one time... and one time only.
She went on with us for a ways and then when it got good and thick she decided to go back to the truck. After a heck of a race I was waiting for two of the dogs to come back in... and I waited and I called... I called and I waited so I got on the button of the good ol come' ere collar and heard one yelp and sounded like a fight. So I waited for a spell and called and hit again... got the same results.
I went back to the truck to put up the hounds I had and go find those two and low and behold they were in the box! She had caught them when they came by because they looked tired... and every time I shocked one, she thought the other was causing it. boooooooooooooooooooooooo lol
