Hog rail in whelping box

How far to space hog rail off the floor for whelping box ?
What size pipe does everyone use? I was going to use 11/2" or 2'

Here is what I use. It is 1 1/2" and it sets about 2 1/2" - 3" off the floor. That's from the bottom of the rail to the floor.
