WHO OWNED PACESETTER? WAS HE OWNED BY THE SAME PERSON HIS WHOL LIFE OR NOT? DID JOHN DEWYISE OWN HIM? ALSO IS THERE ANY DIRECT SONS OR DAUGHTERS LEFT OUT OF HIM? IF SO WHAT IS THERE AGE?

The only one I know that is a direct son of him is Pacesetter Sam he is Pacesetter on top and a grandpup to Mr T on bottom he lives around Coshocton Ohio.

John Dewyse did own him and finished him but was not the litter owner. I believe he got him from Mr. Rice who was the breeder. I know a guy who has a son but he is 14 or 15 and can't breed anymore. John is a super nice guy and if you have any questions he will tell you all you want to know about him.

What type of hound was Pacesetter?

STAMINA!!! I have heard about marathon runs this dog would go on. I have a few with several crosses and have seen dozens go and all of them will run a rabbit as long as you want them to. All of the ones I have seen out of him have excellent noses and run a good line.

ROY RICE in MI owned and bred Setter, Than sold him as a young hound.

I know he went from Mr Rice to John Dewyse. I have judged alot of the big bitches out of him and they are probably the best I have ever judged.

I owned a direct son of Pacesetter named FC Buckeye's Big John. I never got to see him go when he was young, but I know he could sdtill run as an old man. He was still running at 14 when he died. I have a nice young male out of him.
