Anyone know which ones to buy to use on dogs ? I forgot and want to get some. Thanks for any info.

Like the person said use the Purple Python Tags made by Y-Tex that is the brand name I sell them for $3.00 each already put together so all you do is slide them on the Collar.

I put one in my dogs ear just like they do on the cattle and that didnt work out so well, ear split right down the middle but I think she is going to be ok.

The Directions say they last for 5 months, at least all summer I have usedd them for the last 4 Years and have never had a problem with them.

I use them and they work great. Be damned if I would put one in the dogs ear. I stick with putting them on the collars.

tractor supply sells the tags as well as the gun for clipping them,you can do without the gun and just cut them and place on collar.
20 tags is like 29 bucks

I think I probably used to big of a nail to pierce the hole in the ear was my problem, side note dont use 16 penny nail.

Swing you should have used drywall screws. They seem to work alot better than nails ! :D
