I've never seen another dog that could dominate checks like her.

At the World Hunt, opening round, I think there was 15-20 minutes left when the solo judge read that eventual winner Peppermint Patty had accumulated 8 checks, which was more than the rest of the cast combined. This was in the Grand Champion class, so there weren't any pups on the ground.

Hunting or trialing ?

I've seen a few good ones but Smokes Creek Syris Mcgee and Beavercreek's Blue Max top my list.

I like those that has little to no checks That can run hard and hold a rabbit for a long period without a check like Coles Little Missy she has never been trialed just pleasure and gun hunted

the best check hound that I have seen or judged was spicer's blue back I also like bruners big ben. I was also impressed with daddy rabbits squel.I wish I could have seen some of the newer hard hitters like reggie or dutchman run or some of the maverics stuff like ninja or blue barry.

The best I've seen ran with very few checks, great to hunt with, but that type running will not score points.

Your Missy and my Rocket would not do well at all at a trial.

Matt this is all hear say but I heard Chad's Ol' Throbber was hard headed, a little short coupled ( couldn't run with the big dogs ), and he doesn't have any bottom ( will pull out on the big runs and just quit ). Like I say though it's just hear say.

Bobby, anytime you wanna run let me know. Dickie is a young hound, but he's gonna make his mark this fall I hope. Only person that has seen him run is Matt and he is a believer in the bluetick monster.
