sounds like she just needs a dogbox buddy. It should pass over time. I remember first few times the one male I had he would act like a big ol dummy slobber all over himself....lol over time he grew out of it. Some dogs take right to it like its nothing. when you are driving just take your time around turns and such to not scare her further more. I think she'll get over it with time and put her in there with another dog.

Have a female was the same way. Haul her in box on truck or 4-wheeler druel everywhere, had to haul her on side by herself or all dogs would be soaking wet. this lasted for 2 seasons. put her in the truck this past fall and no more druel. just got back from a trip to texas and she had 2 10 hour rides and nothing. give her time it will probably pass just might be awhile

Joey was right, I had a couple pups that didnt like to ride in the box and then I figured out it was because I drive like an idiot! My older dogs were used to my ricky bobby runs across the county but the new pups couldnt find their five point harnesses so I had to slow down and draft until they got used to the driving. Take it easy in the turns and starting/stopping and it will go a long way towards making them comfortable while incarcerated!

I have a great little female that every time I carry her any where in the box she will puke all over and this time she left something extra all over my leads that I found a minute to late, needless to say the handler got to hear a few choice words!!But I do think she'll come out of it sooner or later.

Some dogs get sick when you haul them with the tail gate down. We all do that is hot weather around here. Sorta like my bride riding backward does. If so, raise the tailgate so it cannot see. If a small dog box, put it against the tailgate not right behind the cab. Try putting the dog in the front seat with you so it looks straight ahead as you do and see if it doesn't stop.

I had a six month old female that would do the same thing and if she was in the dog box with other dogs they would be covered with drull but after she started associating the rides with hunting she seemed to stop and now she will go to the truck and put her feet up on the tailgate. If she is not hunting now she will probably stop after she starts hunting especially if she loves hunting like mine does. Give her time.

Take her for short rides once a day! Had one that would drool when she was young. I did this for a couple weeks and eventually she stopped. Feeding her in the box may help to. Also try putting a OLD shirt that you have worn in the box with her. May calm her having your scent on it.
