wondering about warranty info on garmin dc 30 collars
ive got one collar that is losing signal
for example
i have them on all my dogs
they are all running togeather
and i lose the bad collar signal at 100 yards and everything else is still reading at say 500 yards
and ive lost the bad collar untill they come back around and get within a 100 yards or so and then ill pick it back up
know i know theres something wrong with the collar because ive had mine a year and it just started doing that
and ive married it to other peoples handhelds and it does the same thing
but if there like tritronics its gonna be hard to convince them that there product isnt perfect and is defective
just wondering if you all had any experence with having to have something worked on or even if they have a warranty at all
and also your thoughts on the charging connect points on the collars
when they first started making them the points on the collars were small and round and its very hard to get them to take charge and get the blue light the come on on the collar.
but now they have changed the connect points to a long rectangle charging point and they are very easy to get to charge
so they must have obviuosly seen that the round connect points had a defect
Now has anybody had any dealings with getting them to trade out the collars for the good new charging points
i know its a long shot but im gonna talk to them about it
im not downing the system but like all new products it takes them a while to get the bugs worked out
im a big fan of there product and im spoiled now and couldnt run dogs with out it

Just tell them the collar is not working properly and you need to send it in for repairs. Even out of warranty it is cheaper for them to "fix" it than to buy a new one on your own.

If you have have the collar less than a year (and registered it for warranty) it will be a free replacement. If over a year, I believe it costs something like $50-100 to send it in for repairs. This happened to my buddy, sent the collar in and got a brand new one in return.
