Socialism is already here- Dont the goverment still own a portion of the auto and banking industry? I voted for Obama simply because he was different, and at the time different is exactly what we needed- the same would have ended our standard of living as we know it. It is already on the decline toward that of lesser economies. I really dont understand the health care bill at all, anybody on here read it? (all 3000 plus pages) And if you did do you comprehend any of it? He believes he is doing the right thing and five years from now when you may see the first portions of it take effect you may wonder how we lived with out it. All you can do is wait and see. I honestly think that we will never see gun control to the point of not being able to go out and buy a gun OVER THE COUNTER, what you are going to see is a tax on fire arms and probably more so ammunition that is continually driving the cost through the roof where average people cant afford to buy them as freely as you can today. When this starts to happen gun shops will start to fold, less avenues to buy guns and ammo etc. etc.

well there will probably be another gun sales boost and ammo shortage now. i know our local walmart actually has been getting 9mm ammo on their shelves again and i have been trying to get a box every time i head in. i just wish i had the money to get myself a couple ar's and a couple more of this and that. oh yeah this all reminds me i need to renew my concealed carry permit this summer, time to start saving for that too. darn guns and the right to keep them cost me more than my kids do but it is all worth every penny spent.

valpo, i would also like to know why you say this is not true. i have heard about this b.s. through other places too. i hope you are right.

Tsa la gi I really dont see what the color of his skin has to do with the job that he has done so far in office. If you voted for him or didnt vote for him you cant really place the blame on him for us being where we are as a country. What have you done to make our country better? You say you hope that everyone who voted for him chokes on his change! Now you really sound like a true american, wishing harm on your fellow country men. Me as an american, even if i didn't see eye to eye with another american i would not wish harm on them JUST because we didn't think the same. I dont see eye to eye either with obama on some points, but as a true american i stand behind our leader, did the same with Bush.

I don`t stand behind him. He is not a leader. I have paid my taxes, he is letting people stay here ,that don`t pay taxes but receive all types of aide at our expense. He is bringing KILLERS here and trying them in our courts at our expense. Next biggest joke. He has done nothing but sell us out. I wouldn`t walk across the yard to shake his hand. I put an Army uniform on, went to Korea walked guard with an empty rifle 8 mi from the DMZ. Don`t need a pat on the back or any praise. Did my thing. Yea I have contributed, Have you?
