I have noticed that we have several Ky. beaglers on this site and thought I would start a post to let anyone interested post where in Ky. they are located and what kind of hounds they run, maybe how many and if anyone is looking for a running buddy maybe they can locate someone close to them they may not be aware of. Me myself am located is Summersville, and my kennel name is Suratt's Hy-N-Tyt Kennels and I have a Female out of ShowBoat , a male out of Drews Blue Storm and a pup out of My Blue /storm male and a female out of Brankos Blue Beard That I just sold to another Good old Ky. fella. I only have Private farmland to run on which is getting to be less and less every year. and Iam always looking for someone to run with. I hope more beaglers chime in even if your from surrounding states. I have met some great people on here from all over. Thanks for any replies.

I am in Pike Co. and my poor hounds haven't been run in so long I will have to buy a rabbit from Mike Riley and show it to them to remind them. I will be finished with my first year as a high school teacher soon and that set of paperwork will be history so I am going to get them running again soon. I run with Lance Ratliff and his dad, Mike.

I live in Richmond,Ky which is about 20--25 miles south of Lexington, Ky down I-75. I run mostly Reggie bred dogs but I have a 11 month old granddaughter to Heli-Prop that I am going to like when I get time to put more field time on her and I have a 7 month old Reggie male that looks real good for his age. I will have a litter of line bred Reggie pups hitting the ground around May 3rd and I will probably keep most of them and see how they turn out. I enjoy meeting and running with fellow beaglers but I have lost my private running grounds and the WMA has closed for the summer so I am looking for a few places to run my young pot lickers.

The best advice I can give ya is buy a shock collar...I wouldn't do this without one...Pups do silly stuff and a dog is just a dog...And if ur gonna spend the money I'd buy top of the line...Tri-Tronics is the only way to go...As for dogs ya gotta run what suits ya...As for high prices keep lookin' you'll run up on something you can afford before long
