One heck of a dog never got trialed like he deserved, went to two AKC trials and won them both, was in the ARHA HOF. Just to far to get him where he needed to be.
Dog will be missed.
One of my all time favorites

Sorry to hear. Never got to see him run but had a male dog out of him and Smith's Ruby Ann, when Vic had her. The male dog out of him sure could run a bunny, big solid frame with nice foot and line control. Lost that dog about a year ago in a legal case... :angryfire:

Again sorry to hear he sure sounded like a good one...

Tony,

Sorry to hear about the loss of Jake. I regret I never got to come down and hunt with you guys, and see Jake chasin rabbits other than on the video. I still have Sadie out of Jake and Ruby Ann, she will be 4 yrs. old in July. She's my favorite dog and will never leave my kennel. I just bred her to a 3 Gen. AKC Field Champion, top and bottom....pups were born in Sept. 09' and seem to be doing real good, favoring her in looks and ability. Just hate to hear about the loss of good ones like Jake, because he produced dogs with good foot and plenty of line control. He will be missed I'm sure.., and I will give you a call when I get a chance...
Take care~Vic Pirri~Ohio
