Looking for Stud hounds

Post by chascmp »

1.) looking for a pure Patch male somewhere close to north Mississippi, i have a white & lemon Superior patch female just starting her cycle, would like to find another l/w patch male to cross her.
2.) also have Branko's Baba Jazz Man female starting her cycle also, have 6 pups off her now 6.5 months old, started second cast out, grandpups to Brent's Primetime (very nice pups)
going to breed her again also.

if anyone knows of any hounds hidden out in mississippi or in vincinty please let know about them.

thanks

There is a Superior Patch stud in Neelyville, MO., located in southeast Missouri. I have a dog out of him that has a 9th. place win and a 1st place win out of three entries in ARHA Little Pack. My email is http://www.doublefranch@windstream.net.
Email me and I will give you his phone number if you are interested.

My dog is out of this hound and a Bramlett female. He has produced some excellent rabbit dogs. Good luck in your search.

thanks for replys, i have bred the Branko female already and will probably go ahead with the Patch female this week, looks to be ready to take now. we own a 1/4 patch with some Gay Baker bred hound that is lemon and pretty nice, i will probably be going with him now. looks like i have go to Piedmont, mo this wednesday so this week is gonna be tight for me to travel to breed her. my dad's hound is pretty nice running hound with some speed, not exactly what i wanted in breeding of the male but this female will hold her up end on pups.
thanks for all the help.

If it is not exactly what you want then why dont you wait till her next cycle and breed her then?

because i am in the running business of a dog, i don't stand them up, anything could happen to her, snakebit, freak accident anything??? this female has proven herself to me and i want some pups out of her. the hound my dad owns is young and really improved over the last couple months and has some really nice breeding from what i can tell with my minimum experience of beagles. now if it was running walkers i have 25+ years experience there, main reason to breed her is i want some pups from HER.
