Whose your foundation of your kennel??

Show us a picture of your gyp or stud that you have started your foundation of your kennel on??? Talk about what things you look for into the future, which crosses and why you like them.

These two will be my foundation.

Moe: Image Moe is out of CFC Murray's Little Tippy (IFC Branko's Heli-Prop X Gordie's Black Brook Jasmine) X Heb Jesstrik Gazou (IFC IFC MJR Mitsou Argenteuil Striker X PL Jessica Sorel)

Sadie Image

Sadie is out of FC HBCH John L's Doc (FC Wookie X FC Larsen's Sadie) X Larsen's Tonya (Larsen's Stormie X Country Creek Diamond Rio)

If this pup works out and grows into the hunting dog I know she can, I'll breed her to Moe.

I like this bloodline cause of their consistency day in and day out. They remind me of long distance runners, tough hounds with good foot, inside and out check work, but with plenty of brains to gear down, and a big scenting nose.

This was the foundation of my kennel when I first started out almost 11years ago with my own beagles. She is out of FC Brankos Hard Rock and Prices Branko Jill. Super fast and very clean. Hard hitting, level headed very little faults. Produced some great hounds for me and she will be missed when she is gone. Trully a once in a lifetime hound.

This is hopefully my up and coming kennel building block. She is grand-daughter to NLPC FC Brankos One Tuff Ombre on top and IFC Brankos Warlock on bottom. She will be 2 in May and she is a ball of fire. About an 8/9 on speed and explodes out of a check. She will be bred to a son of my Hard Rock bitch next year after she gets some trials under her belt.

LPRCH TURBO SUPER SPORT

Everything started for me when i bought my first AKC female out of Turbo Powered by Turbo (May Powered by Turbo). From there my buddy and I bought two more littermates and the thirst to own a direct male out of Turbo became a reality when i was able to get my hands on Sport. Sport, is flat out the best i have ever owned. The dog was a joy to watch run a rabbit and he will never be forgotten here at my house. Sport touched my life and my family as well and is just one of those once in a lifetime dogs that you here guys talk about. He passed away 2 years ago, but i have been on a quest to find something that stacks up to him. With Sport gone I'm still a big Turbo guy who has put all of my money on a Reggie bred female. My only regret was the fact that I let a divorce force me into selling one of the only males i kept out of Sport, so now I will just take it as a lesson in life and concentrate on getting the bloodline and the traits i want from my Reggie female (Hollarbacks Hurry It Up Girl).

You can't go wrong with a Reggie or Turbo by Turbo pups!

It has taken me years to figure out exactly the line of dogs that suit me best. I have always had Turbo dogs and liked them , but I have recently made the switch to Awful Bawlin. I currently only own 3 dogs. 2 are males out of Rip and Lady ( pictured below ) and the other is Lady , Which I have bred back to Rip and is due in late April. I have also seen other Awful Bawlin dogs that have suited me very well. in my opinion Awful Bawlin throws Houndy looks with tremendous hunt , Good foot , good mouths , Brains , well behaved dogs with the desire to please. Everyone likes something different but for me its Awful Bawlin all the way. So , I have decided to start over and go with this line of dogs and honestly do all I can to maintain and if possible improve the line.

My kennel is being based on these two dogs along with some other females that are being bred to Rip

Heard a lot about Ripper! I am a big fan of the Striker line!! Consistency and lots of brains, mixed in with good hunt, great nose, and the ability to account for their game.

I have based my small kennel and my breeding efforts on the blood of FtCh.Branko's Jack Of All Trades through his son I.F.C. Maravic's Blue Ninja.Eighteen years ago I made the switch after 21 years of following tree hounds on coon, bear and bobcat back to the beagles of my youth. I joined a beagle club in New Hampshire and started asking all the longtime and oldtime beaglers what was what in registered dogs. The answers I kept getting was "get something out of Branko's Jack Of All Trades".
Back then Ninja was winning/placing regularly and I made it a point to see him run and also saw his littermate sisters Mimi and Missy.I liked everything about them and reports were already indicating that Ninja had some good young dogs on the ground.I got a female pup Ninja x Greenbriar Charity in 93' and have been very pleased with the reulting generations.
At this point I have 4 females [2 are out of Reggie ,1 is out of Thunder Blue who is Reggie's littermate brother and the other 1 is out of the Thunder Blue bitch and a male with Ninja behind him].Remember that Reggie and Thunder's mother is the result of a half brother /sister cross with both being out of Ninja. Both of my Reggie bitchs also have Ninja in their dam's background. The Thunder Blue bitch has several shots of Jack behind her.Reggie and Thunder have Heli-Prop as their grandsire who was out of Jack.
If you haven't noticed I'm a strong believer in line-breeding and for me the focus is Ninja .But if I need to bring something in that my hounds are lacking then I try to do it through a hound that has Jack strong in his background and that is still reasonably easy to do as Jack had many outstanding sons whose blood and traits are still found in MANY of the better hounds around today.

I liked Skyview Cliff

Only registered dog I have is out of him so that says something. Everone that goes with us wants to buy her. Had one litter of pups, one hit by car and other two stayed here. Good line control for flat out running dogs. Beautiful to go with it and I sure don't say that lightly.

I started out with the Ole Bad Cliff line and have stuck with it. Just made a cross on a patch female and am liking it. I also have a Red Runner and Argentil Striker female that has really caught my eye this year.

Harner Hounds, I owned a female out Striker and Daz's Ashley Brittney and sold her. I wanted another, so when Matt Glomski had this litter, I bought a female. This pups mother was a sister to the female I sold. She is 15 months old and has only been in 2 hunts. I'm just taking my time with her now and will probably hunt her in a few more hunts this year.

I like the Striker line a lot, hopefully we can cross paths.
