That is the terrible thing that a wolf is going to grab a kid or kill an old lady going out to get her mail. In a state were the economy is a black hole the proposition at the last DNR meeting was to spend millions of dollars to capture and sterilize some instead of opening a season. As a state we already opened a season but the feds stepped in and shut it down while the northern economy suffered through the worst deer season in decades. :angryfire: :angryfire: :angryfire:

I can't get the link to work. I even tried coping and pasting it.
* I enjoy meeting new Beaglers & Squirrel Dog Owners. It's a blessing to find other's with such unique interests.
* I also enjoy helping future hunters.

Any predatory animal that is not hunted, at least periodically, loses its fear of anything smaller or weaker than it. THat's nature. Look at what the bears have done in eastern ky. They regularly ransack garbage cans, etc. in peoples' back yards. The hunting season for them last year was a bust because of the snowstorm. Hopefully, this year's season will see better weather or a moved back date.
