I did some research on Kansas, I e-mailed them from there website and have recieved a ton of info from the people in Kansas

I don't know if that helps, I just an idea. I accually have family that live in KS, and I am thinking about heading out to see them. I would just have to take the hounds with me. Ha, Ha.
good luck.

I Deer hunted there last Nov. The amount of game was unreal, like something out of a Lewis and Clark book. Hunting paradise!

I live in Kansas and its not like that all over the state, we have a hard time finding rabbits in the eastern part of the state. The west has some though. We all stop shooting around march becouse they are breeding, we start again after the first good frost. There is a limit of 10 rabbits a day but no season. Some years we have a good population and some years not as good. If you are wanting to go, head west of Salina, the numbers were good out there. Eastern Kansas gets hit very hard.

I checked it out and it is 1400 miles from where I live! My wife thinks we are crazy for even thinking about taking a pack of hounds 1400 miles! Ha! Do you Spini boys know anybody in Salina? I would love to bring some eastern dogs to Kansas! Kerry

I was out there a few years back and had a blast. I've been in march and October and march trip was way better, no standing crops. We hunted just outside of Washington and stayed in Washington. Plenty of public land or you could use Mark Uhlick as a guide he only charges $20.00 a day and he has 1000's of acres leased you can hunt. You can find him by googling Uhlick hunting
