breeding question,
if you could breed and get a pup that was 50 to 70% like your best dog or
any champion dog, would you pay $500 to $1000 dollars for pup.

Ahhhhhh, NO! I wouldnt buy any pup I didnt think had the potential to be a great one. Do you have insight into knowing that a pup is only going to be 50 or 70 percent of another dog. How would you ever know that. I would never encourage breeding below average dogs, but an occational superstar could always pop up. ---/Certainly you would not give $500 or more for a pup of any breeding!

i am gladd you asked, yes i can breed dogs that will reproduce pups that are that close to grandparents and parents,

Jerry to get a 50% would you be talking about a full brother to sister cross and to get a 70% would you be talking a mother to son or father to daughter cross.From what I've read this is how a breeder would get these %,but it still is no guarrantee,I know cause I made some of these type of crosses.Steve

Personally I wouldn't give $500+ for any pup. Maybe a really well started dog or a finished dog but not a pup.
