Tritronics organizer.

Post by BCBeagles »

Did something today, snowed in, that I should have done a long time ago. I know a lot of guys may have already done this, but I made an organizer for
my shocking system. Real easy, took a 1X3 and attached it to an open work area I had then spaced the collar cradles about an inch apart all the way down
with access plug up to the power strip I have them on. Placed the transmitter on the right end, if you are facing the station, off of the edge of the 1X3 and it
sits there perfect. Really cleaned up all the cords and mess of collars falling over and such. Total area with four collars was about 24-26 inches and I can add
on the other two as well later. Thought this might help someone out. You could probably also mount this on a wall, but I was worried over time the plastic
cradles may weaken and not charge as well. Used a #6 wood srew at 1.25 inch for it all. Thanks much!!

I seen something similar a fellow had them lined up on a wall real neat looking. I think he just left them plugged in all the time unless in use. Looked cool all lined up. This guy had a small room with a wood stove that was used for his huntin stuff and to tell lies.lol

I just did similar with mine except I made it portable for road trips.. I used a 1"x10"x2'long piece of poplar and mounted all 6 cradles, the transmitter cradle, and the surge protector on the board.. Plug everything up and only one cord to plug into a receptacle.. I need to put a handle or hole at the top to complete it but it sure is nice to have it all together.. At $25 apiece I didn't want to break those cradles hauling them around...

I did something similar... 18X18 piece of plywood... power strip in top left corner... craddles paired side x side down
right side transmitter on left... and the craddle for my midland radios bottom center. lays flat... easy to pick up and
put in storage compartment above dog box if needed...

sad thing is I was not snowed in... I am just anal  according to the family.

It was really simple. I used a 2X3 not 1x3 as I said earlier and I could disconnect it if needed in minutes. I does clean it up. I had the same mess as
yours Joey. The way you build stuff you could probably get one connected on a remote line to go to your truck and be there waiting on you!!
