Lost a good one today

Post by Jeremy Mapes »

My old FC Buckeye's Big John passed on today. I took him out and ran him this morning and when I got home from running he was dead in the box. He was 14 1/12 yrs old. I guess I'm glad he at least died after doing what he loved so much, but I sure will miss the old man. RIP John, I'll miss ya buddy.

Sorry for your loss. I hate to think of losing any that are running for me now, but that would be the way I would rather for it to happen.

Sorry to here that Jeremy, I hope you have a few of his Grandpups to remind you of him. Man thats an Ol Beagle...doing what he loved to do! I hope all your beagles live that long.

Thanks guys. Having his clone here makes it a little easier. This young Stroke hound I have out of him is a nice one and looks exactly like ol John did. I didn't get John until he was older, but when I got him he could still get it done. He's produced some nice pups in my kennel and plan on using his blood for a long time to come.
