410 Pistol makes the hunt more comptetive and interesting.I think a 12 ga. is too much gun for such small game personally 20 ga. is better and 410 takes a good shooter and test your skills

I have two. Benelli M2 black synthetic 20ga. with 24 inch barrel. Throws them out as fast as you can pull the trigger, and super light(Main reason for using it).
Browning A-5 in light 20ga. 26 inch modified, classic that shoots really well and handles great. Don't use it nearly as much as the Benelli. The Benelli is so light and
you never really know you are carrying it.

I love my Charles Daly over/under. I like that it only has one trigger and a selector switch for which barrel fires first. I have a Stoger 20g and a stoger .410, both side by side. The Charles Daly is lighter and shoulders better than both.

Who makes a good .410 pistol?

Tim

When hunting with dogs, I prefer a shotgun. I am down to only having my 870 12 ga, but I would love to have that same gun in a 20 and a .410, someday when I get out of school and can afford one....

For years I used my old marlin .22 rifle but last year I dug out my single shot NEF 410ga and have used it all of this season. I would like to get a mark III rueger pistol to make it more fun.

mark III ruger pistol. it is nice to not carry a long gun. i also have my permit so i put it on at home and never have to worry about getting the gun out and loading it.
i do really need to get a red dot on it this spring. it will help a lot on running bunnies and more distant shots.

later, dave

I bought a Taurus Judge before the season started and have had more fun rabbit hunting this year than i have in years. Now Im not exactly the rabbit slayer but I have killed my share this year. My hunting partner carries a 12 gauge and he has probably killed more than me but not too many more. I do lose the long shots but it is a lot more fun to pack in the field all day. Not too mention when we are just running I can keep it loaded with 000 buck that will do a number on any coyotes that wander within range. Since buying it and getting my permit I dont go to the field without it.
