NEW STARTING PEN ALMOST FINISHED

Well me and my 2 boys and a couple of there beagle buddies jump in on building our new starting pen yesterday and got all the post, fence and mating down except 15' of the mating and the 2 gates up before the rain and ice started falling again but we fence almost 3 acres in 1 1/2 days and let me tell ya my age is showing, i'm sore all over but it really is looking good.
My last pen was 1 ac so this is a big jump for me to a larger pen. i built it longer than wider to give the hounds the chance to stretch out before having to make a turn. It's a acre wide and 2 acres long. My other was 1ac x 1ac this should give them alot more room.

Don't look like the weather will brake till Saturday evening and i got to hit the grind again Monday so i hope to have pics of it when i get it finished soon.It's full of red briars so a hounds won't be able to skirt much there and will sure get cut up when they go in this pen.Should be just right when our pups get ready to start.

One more full day and i should have it done if mother nature will cooperate.I will send pics as soon as i get done.

Will do but it's not got above freezing sense i last worked on it and it don't look it's gonna get any better for another week. Here we are expecting 6-8" snow Thursday and Friday so mother nature is not on my side.The low teens every night also.
Unless i get a backhoe i guess i will have to wait a while, but i will post them when i get it finished.
