Atleast four days a week I run at night due to working 10 hour days during the day light hours and I use tracker flash lights and LOVE them. I use the Green, Red, and Orange. The Green and Blue are the best. Red isn't bad but the orange stinks im MHO. I don't have a Blue one right now but I think I'm going to be picking it up on my way home from work tonight. I have a buddy that has one and I love it. They will save you from shocking your dog when it's on it way in to you and I've had a pack of dogs saved from a pack of Yotes because of them. I had six dogs running one night and about 5 or 6 yotes were yacking and coming in pretty quick on the dogs while they were running and when the yotes got within 45 yards they saw the lights and got the HELL out of there and I mean FAST. They are something nice to have if you ask me.allen haire wrote:anybody running the tracker flash lights on there beagles this year, just ordered a green and red to match my shock collars. how do yall like them?
You turn it on by twisting the light itself and the batteries seem to last a long time. I have been running them all summer and winter with no dead batteries yet. It also helps to put them on flash mode and not the solid light mode. Hope helps.allen haire wrote:Thanks for the comments, I have a few of the bright eyes lighted collars and they have been a total dissapointment to me and was wanting to find something else and for the prices of these things it looks like a good deal,,, one question I have is, how do you turn it on and how long do the batteries normally last?
Don't know for sure but I never have. I supose if you twist it enought the wrong way maybe but not sure. That's something I wouldn't worry about one bit because they're such a good built piece.allen haire wrote:If you twist the light down to turn it on, would you have any trouble with it coming undone
