I noticed my female's eye today and say it shaded as you would a dog who is blind. After examinig the eye I noticed a hole, probly from a thorn, but ut was a clean who. Does anyone know if there is any medicine I can get to help her or is she just going to have one eye.
I noticed that last couple times out she was shy about getting in the real thich briars but would tear a wead patch up.
WHat do I do guys, HELP...

Take her to a vet.

There are 2 main medications for eye issues. The problem is without having the eye looked at you could make it worse using the wrong one. I'd recommend a vet asap...

Re: Dog may be going blind HELP
I just used Terramycin salve. One of my Taz X Lucy males had gone on a 3 day hunt and came in with a cloudy eye, he had poked something in the pupil. I treated it every day with the salve and it cleared up in a couple weeks. He has some scar tissue on the eye liens and I'm sure the vision is blurred.
