I will stand behind what I say when I say it, But when my words get turned into something Maliciuos Against a Friend I draw the line!
I did say Smokes Creek Syris McGee was a very full 15in dog with a lot of drive and staminia? Since he's who my intire kennel is based on!
I have a passion for the way he hunts and handles.
Rick is my friend and I consider Jamie Hilbert a dear friend and some things got turned around in the ChatRoom and hurt both of them!
If I said it I'll stand up to it! If I didn't come on up here to IN, and we'll have a little CHAT of our own!

bluehound left click on the picture at the top it will take you to the TAB home page then click on the Chatroom , that should get you there my is bookmarked so I just go there taht way. John I've never saw you say any thing negitave abot Syris ! I think people need to pay close attention to how things go in the chat room. Some of us make a national monument out of nothing for the sake of fun , so I would advice any one not to take much serious in the chatroom some of those guys are trouble makers , LOL!!! ok ok, maybe I've stirred it a little too.

Hope it was nothin I said, I do know this from what all trouble Lynn and J. start in there it's a wonder things dont get out of hand. A few times I have had my feelings hurt in there of how they talk to me and about my poor dogs.
One thing about it with their 2 dogs on the last 2 issues of the Rabbit Hunter, I doubt they have much trouble of ever getting measured out.
This is all hear say I only put on here what I recieve in e-mails.

i think i was chatting the nite in question. john said nothing negative whatsoever about syris or his owner/handler. he gave his opinion which was pretty positive about syris. some guys need to relax and get another hobby if they want to start trouble about what a man supposedly said online. ive been in johns shoes before and most people are smart enough to see when someone is just starting trouble.

John,
Although I wasn't in there the night this happened. I do know from other converstions on this chat board as well as the RHO chat, that a lot of the guys give each other a bunch of grief, but it seems to be done in good humor. Like I said, I wasn't there on the night you are talking about.
I do however know from your posts that I would doubt very seriously that you were saying anything bad about Syris, Jamie, or Rick G.
I as well as you have Syris blood in my kennel and I haven't found anything wrong with them yet. My gyp didn't start as well as I would have liked, but she's tearing it up now. I know I'll keep her.
I'm going to breed one of my linebred sock it to me gyps into one of Syris Mcgee's sons this spring so that I can get a little more of his blood in my kennel. I don't have a lot of room to keep many dogs, so I look for the very best I can find and then sell what I can't use or don't have room to keep. If I had it my way, I would keep every dog on my place right now, but I just don't have the room.
I believe that you are a man of your word, so don't let it get you too tore up. Those that read your posts know how you are and to the others that may have been trying to start trouble. Forget about them.
If you would like, I would talk to Jamie myself and tell him that I personally have never seen you say one thing out of the way about him or Syris.
Your friend in sport,
James
