i would worm her real good, most times when their hair is greasy, you will see them "sorta collect" dust down the back line. most times they have some worms that your usual wormer is not getting.

I also have a female that has a greasy coat. She also has chewed the hair off her tail and hocks. I think that is a dermatitis with fleas. None now but still itching and I am trying to get her cleaned up. I have tried baths and dips but she still feels oily. Also have changed food with no luck yet. A good worming can't hurt. Good luck hope you do better than I have.

I dont have any problems with chewing or anything else. She is in perfecr health and will run rabbuts all day. No problem at all with her. she is a greasy haired dog. Her coat doesnt feel right and I would like to correct it if possible. I do appreciate all the input , and I will consider all posts.

Guys, thanks for the help. Going to try the oatmeal baths and the benedryl. Only problem is I live in Northern New York and the bath are going to depend on the weather.Hopefully it will help.
