feeders

Anyone got rabbit feeder plans? looking for something they can eat in without geeting picked off from above.

I use 4" pvc and a half of a plastic barrel. Start with a 5 foot piece and then 2- 45 degree angles ( this allows the feed to flow better than one 90 ) and then a 2 foot piece cut in half and capped at the end. The barrels I get from the local car wash. Cut the barrel in half and cut 3 holes in it. 1 hole on the side big enough for the tube and 2 small holes on the ends for the rabbits to get into. I strap the barrel down on a pallet because the deer will kick it off and eat all of the corn.
[I built these feeders 10 years ago and the barrels are just now starting to show signs of breaking down from being exposed to uv rays.

How many do you put out? How far apart do you space them?

In my 5 acre starting pen, I have 4 of then in random locations.
