LOST DOG

Post by anderson7807 »

I lost my 13" tri-color female beagle today while hunting. We were hunting section 12 of the Edward Roush Lake in Markle Indiana. She has black saddle back, completely white tail, two green colors one being e-collar and regular collar with "rose" and my number on it. we looked for four hours for her, she ran from us when collar was bumped when calling her in. She is just not a hunting beagle, she lives inside and sleeps on the couch with me. I am torn up. Yes I left a sweet shirt for her, but i live 100 miles away. hunting partner going back tomorrow and i am going back saturday.

thanks

I hope you get "Rose" back soon! She was probably just shook from being bumped with the collar and did not go far. As soon as she want to be found, it will be easy to "find" her. I will say a little prayer for her safety until your partner makes it back to look tomorrow. If she knows him well, she should come a running. If not, she will definitely be glad to see you Saturday! Sounds like she has it made at your house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Best wishes!

Rose has been found. She is safe with a squirrel hunter in his kennel till Jerry can get up there to get her tomorrow. It's good to know that most hunters will look out for each other and help if they can.

Good deal Jerry, Im glad you got Rose back. I know how frustrating it can be loosing a pet. I am also glad to know that there are still some honest people out there! Some people might not get their dog back, I hate to think that but however it is true.
