Garmin Astro and Diamond Food

Hello, I am thinking of purchasing a Astro, but am concerned that my girl may be to small to tote this thing around. Anyone have any experience running smaller dogs with the astro? She is a 13 inch and about 17 pounds.

Second, I am having a difficult time finding good quality dog food close by. I have a choice of either buying diamond which is close by or driving about an hour away for black gold. The local pet store carries the whole line of diamond foods but it seems that most of you guys favor the black gold. Would it be better for me to make the trip for black gold or stick w diamond being so much closer by?

Thanks in advance!

I don't believe you will find a better feed than" Diamond Naturals" chicken and rice. You will not feed very much in the summer, about half as in winter. They have alot of energy, and look great!

Agreed on the Diamond Naturals C&R. It is the best food I have fed and my dogs look great and have endless energy even in the heat.

I'll vouch for Diamond Naturals too, feeding it to 5 right now with success. I have always liked Diamond but got away from it when they had thier problems and used ProPlan, and have to say I like the Naturals better now that I've used it awhile.

I feed Diamond Maintance in the summer down months, and High Energey, during the running season. Never had a problem, and the dogs perform well. and hold their weight. Never tried the Chicken & Rice, but im sure it's good feed.
