Boys... 103 degrees @ 6:00 pm this evening with dern near 100 % humidity!!!!
been this way all week, get home in the evenings and fill 30 gal container with cold water and dunk the hounds to cool them down.
Just too dern hot to even think bout running.... Summer just started and ready fro fall.

Why you wana kill your hounds for?

I'm not... just cooling them down.
Too hot to run... they stay in the kennels all day while I am at work, and when I get home I treat them to a cool down session... .
Weather man says rain tomorrow and then a cold front to move thru... maybe I can run them tomorrow...

Weathers been the same here in mid Missouri.Ran mine this morming, started at 6;00am and by 8;30 was too hot to run any more.Suppose to have cold front this evening and be in the mid-60's in the morning.We really don't need anymore rain right now as we've had too much already,but if that's what it takes to cool it down,come on rain lol.

last night at 10:00 was still 90 deg. got to love KY summers.

It was 62 degrees here this morning at 5:30 and I was off to work instead of off running dogs

It was 70 degrees this morning sure would have been a good morning to take the hounds out.

I am heading out this evening around 8pm with the digital camera and get some video footage.

was thinking the same thing @ 5:45 this morning... got to pay bills and feed the hounds... so off to work I went. Sure would have been nice to run instead.

Dunbar... Vanburen? we are about and hour apart... perhaps this fall we hook up and run them hounds? I have been to Frog Bayou down toward Mulberry a cpl of times... me and every other beagler in the area... seems pretty stomped out. PM me some time ...

Yes ddetar00 you are right there are a few places that get hunted hard.I have seen people turn out 15 to 20 dogs have ten people out there with guns and shoot there guns all morning and there dogs never bark all they are shooting are the flush out.And then tell you how good there dogs are.I was raised in mulberry and have hunted down there all my life.

Heck around here it's so hot I saw to trees fighting over a dog

lmao... that was funny. When I was a young teenager (13-16) I worked on a farm behind the Little Rock Airbase, my boss (Wayne) always used the phrase "Hotter than a three peckered billygoat", that has stuck with me forever.
