I just got it Friday, i have always wanted one and i finally got it. It's a 2009 Polaris Ranger XP.Man i really like it, just load the hounds and go run. I have a top, windshield, and doors coming this week to keep me out of the bad weather.

Awesome. Is that the model with the power steering??

We have one of the older models up at my cabin. Them things will go anywhere on them mountains. There like little tanks.

Talldog yeah i'm a bachelor but my 2 boy's i believe have took it over, they have drove it more than i have. As soon as i got it they took off turkey huntin then came back and loaded the hounds and went for a evening run,so it kinda like being married anyway. :lol: But that's what i got it for we really have enjoy it.

Bev that's a good idea on the seneca box for the back, but it sure looks good when your hauling the hounds in the back without the box on. I think they enjoy the ride as much as we do. :biggrin:

Huntin54 yeah it is all power steering, fuel injected, dump bed and like you said it can go about any where, plus it saves wear and tear on my truck to,i can go where it can't,which make it another plus, and it's cheaper on fuel. Our 1500ac lease is just 5 mins away so it makes it easy to zip over for a morning or evening run when ever ya want,and we use it a lot here on the farm, the payload (1120lbs)makes it nice, along with the 1500lbs towing. We loaded it down yesterday with wood in the bed and on a 5x8 trailer and that booger never acted like it was tied to anything from behind, otherwise i would be doing all this with the truck.
It will make our deer huntin trips nice to. Can't wait. No more dragging.

Yeaup there great machines. My grandparents drive it all over up at the cabin. And my grandpop uses it to farm some. Spraying the weeds, pulling a drag over seed, and then using the roller behind it, get some fire wood. Its great for getting deer out to ya just drive right up to um, and throw them in the bed.

And putting the dogs in the back is great. Sometimes i'll let one sit on the seat with me. Or let them run behind or in front just to see how fast they can run LOL.

Joeyman you can really cover the area and quick, plus you can get a a head of the dogs running fast to watch them work.It's a good item to have for sure.

AS for the bum knees i can understand that Bev, and a couple fracture shin bones i have encounter while running with the hounds.
So Bev all ya got to do is talk real sweet to your hubby and tell him how much it would be to help you and him out with the place and the hounds, and tell him to go out back and dig up some of your pickle jars full of money and get his butt up there to get you one now... :biggrin: :nod: :approve:

Easy as that.Always work when i was married on me. :nod: :dance:

Someone isn't being hurt by the economy!! I'd divorce my husband before I gave up my 4 wheeler!! It's a Polaris 600.
I used it this past deer season to haul out a big fat doe. I looove my 4 wheeler!

This is my buggy I built a couple of years ago when my batteries died in my golf cart. It is an early 90's Club Car golf cart body, frame and front end. It is powered by a 1985 250 Honda three wheeler motor, trans, rear-end. I cut the frame on the three wheeler and attached it to the cart. Some fab work to make everything work and wallaa I can run 38 MPH and enough low end torque to do any job. I have added bigger tires and aluminum wheels since these pictures. I added a tailgate to the dump bed as well. Enjoy
