Now I understand

I was going through some old pics of my parents that my Aunt had sent me when I came across this pic. It's of my dad who passed away 3 years ago holding a large Northern Pike with a pregnant beagle standing behind him. Now I understand my obsession with Pike fishing and Beagles. Thanks Dad.

I LOVE old pictures like that. I wish I grew up in those days. Things were much simplier. If you could or wanted to, could you post some more of those old pictures like that? Thanks,

Every photo I have of my Mom (who passed away 5 years ago) when she was younger have either a dog or a horse in them. Even the photo from her Drag racing days in AZ have a blue heeler sitting on the back with her for a trophy photo.
I specialize in photo restoration and archiving. Slides, photos, clippings... I see so much history in my line of work, I never tire of looking at the old photos.

Great pic. That is one to hang on the wall. It looks as if your dad caught that while wading and with the pregnant beagle it must have been a nice spring day.

Red Dog I know what you mean my mom showed me some
old photo's of my Grandparent's both sides of the family and
just about every photo and hounds in them.
